Connections

Collaboration Hands holding one another

Connection groups are well underway to connect and re-connect with you!

A variety of opportunities are available for you to facilitate our re-connecting to one another. Below lists what current groups have organized this summer. Depending on the group, you might meet weekly, monthly, or for a one time event. After a few months, groups may reshuffle, add new participants, or continue into the year. As time progresses, new groups may be added. It is our hope everyone will find something and/or someone to which they can connect to further Christian fellowship and faith as we Gather, Grow, and Serve at NPC.

Connections for Presbyterian Women

Topics change with the season. This Connections group is a thought and discussion provoking Bible study with a guide from Presbyterian Women. As we come together, we can enrich our faith and discuss ways to be connected with God’s world all around us. Meetings are the 3rd Thursday each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room. Leading a study is not required in order to participate! Please join these women in fellowship and coffee. Transportation assistance is available. Guide books for the year available in the office for $10.

‘Serve’ the Food Bank of Iowa

What better way to get together and make a difference? Join a group and travel to the Volunteer Center in Des Moines to sort, box, and pack large volumes of food donations from manufacturers and community food drives. These packages go to mobile food pantries, schools, and disaster areas for relief. Details for shifts and group reservations are available from Debra Hop once you sign up.
